The Transcend mini CPAP is vey convenient and very affordable. This is the best option if the patient tends to travel a lot, or sleep outdoors and unplugged, or just wants a great CPAP machine that will not wake the whole household if it’s on. Also available is Transcend APAP machine.

RESmart CPAP Machine with RESlex with Heated Humidifier

RESmart CPAP machine is another affordable CPAP machine. It has a humidifier, a RESlex exhalation relief for easy exhalation against airflow.

Features

One of the top features of this CPAP machine is the pressure relief afforded. The air pressure changes as one exhales, thereby offering more comfort as one breathes out. This process is termed RESlex with adjustable settings of 1, 2 and 3 with the latter exhibiting the largest drop in airflow during exhalation.

The RESmart CPAP machine gives out a code or iCode that can be looked up online for explanation. This is a great way to track data and see variables such as snore index, average pressure, and AHI to name a few. This data is saved for 365 days. What is more convenient is the machine’s auto setting. This on and off feature detects breathing (or lack of it) in the mask. If there is no detected breathing, the machine will turn itself off. Another great feature is its auto altitude adjustment good for up to 8,200 feet. A power off alert feature is added in case power supply is interrupted. An auto leak alert is activated if a leak is detected. The humidifier is an easy snap on and off gadget that uses the same power supply as the machine. Its adjustable level can be set from 1 to 5.

Very few CPAP machines has data storage, humidifier and pressure relief settings. For its price and features, the RESmart CPAP is a great choice.
