Product Features
The AirFit™ F10 Full Face Mask with Headgear is a small, lightweight and full face mask. The mask weighs less than 5 ounces and is therefore quite compact.
The headgear and frame work together to offer the user superior performance and stability. The SoftEdge™ headgear is more compact and fitted with narrow straps for superior comfort and less facial marks on the user. The ultra soft Spring Air™ comfortably fits the user’s face.
The AirFit™ F10 Full Face Mask has a very simple and minimal design. There are only four parts, making this full face mask quite easy to clean and maintain. The headgear is so designed to afford comfortable and easy adjustment.
It is 50% quieter than other leading full face masks available on the market today. There is no forehead support which in turn gives the user clear and unobstructed view as he reads or watches TV while undergoing therapy.
SoftEdge™ Headgear
Most headgear needs to be tightened up for a great fit. However, the SoftEdge™ Headgear affords the required support for an effective seal even when loosely worn. The material is flexible and light, making it easy for air to circulate freely through the weave for a snug and comfy fit. The edges of the headgear are seamless and rounded for a softer touch against the user’s head. The headgear is adjustable through the lower and upper attachments.
Spring Air™ Cushion
The F10 cushion uses ResMed's Spring Air™ Technology which facilitates a tight seal and helps reduce pressure on the user’s face while undergoing CPAP therapy. The dual wall design of the soft, silicon cushion presents an inner wall that effectively seals the inflated outer wall. Unlike other CPAP full-face mask, the F10 cushion is replaceable.
Quiet and Easy to Use
It is a sad truth that bed partners of OSA patients spend sleepless nights while they (OSA patients) undergo therapy during sleep. This is mainly due to the noise created by most CPAP machines. With the
AirFit™ F10 Full Face Mask with Headgear, restful and peaceful nights are assured not only to the person with sleep apnoea but to his/her bed partner as well. The airflow is gently diffused by the circular venting of the mask, which in turn creates a quieter mask.
The mask can be easily detached and reattached to the frame of the mask through a quick-release elbow with side buttons. This makes it easier for the user to detach/reattach from the tubing so he does not have to remove the whole mask if he gets up during the night.
