Sleek, intelligent and very user-friendly, the DreamStation Auto-CPAP Machine is another innovative product from Philips Respironics. This automatically adjusting CPAP device will titrate pressure accordingly via an algorithm or internal computer, depending on the varying needs of the Patient throughout the night. The DreamStation APAP device is characterised by outstanding advanced features such as cellular modem connectivity, Bluetooth connectivity and the DreamMapper app, A-Flex Pressure Relief and SmartRamp. The integrated DreamStation Heated Humidifier with 'Adaptive' Climate Control adds heat and moisture to the therapy air, thus affording intuitive, self-regulating air treatment and high comfort levels to the User.

The DreamStation Auto-CPAP is a modern machine with many advanced features to increase therapy effectiveness and comfort. Therapy data can be reviewed on the machine's display, downloaded off the included SD card, or viewed via Bluetooth on the DreamMapper app on compatible devices (not included). The DreamStation Auto-CPAP is an automatically adjusting machine that regulates the supplied pressure during the night via monitoring of flow and potential apnea on a breath-by-breath basis. This aids in the intuitive maintenance of therapy which responds to all scenarios. This device is extremely versatile as the Humidifier can detach; this is useful during periods of travel, external power operation or limitation in bedside space. 

The Built in modem allows remote data transmission to your CPAP Victoria Clinician, as well as your Healthcare Professional. Wireless setting and prescription changes are also viable through the cellular modem, assisting ease of therapy facilitation, adjustment and engagement.

Auto-Adjusting Pressure and Opti-Start Technology

The DreamStation Auto-CPAP monitors the user throughout the night to provide pressures as and when required, should respiratory events occur. The machine remains at the lower pressure of the auto-adjusting range until an event is detected; should apnea occur, pressure increases within the specified pressure range to support the airway.

DreamStation Heated Humidifier and Heated Tube

The Heated Humidifier incorporates 'Adaptive' Climate Control, which self-regulates optimal moisture and temperature levels according to the ambient environment. This significantly reduces condensation and rain-out, as well as upper airway air treatment and associated comfort throughout the night and long-term device wear. Additionally, the Humidifier features Dry Box technology to reduce the chance of water entering the machine from the Humidifier and resulting damage. The water chamber is dishwasher safe and is designed to be easily taken out for cleaning and filling.

Advanced Features Incorporated

The DreamStation Auto-CPAP has many advanced features included to help the user track and monitor therapy effectiveness, as well as receive optimal treatment outcomes. 

SmartRamp: pressure will begin at a lower, more tolerable pressure until sleep onset is detected. The pressure will begin to support the airway once the user has fallen asleep.

Auto On/Off: The DreamStation APAP can detect if the user has their mask on or off and will begin or stop therapy accordingly, if enabled.

Bluetooth Connectivity: Bluetooth is built-in to connect to the DreamMapper app to track therapy. The DreamMapper app is available on compatible iOS (iOS 6 or newer) and Android devices (2.2 or newer) and can be downloaded in the iTunes App Store or the Google Play Store.

A-Flex Pressure Relief: A-Flex helps mimic natural breathing patterns by lowering pressure during exhalation. This form of Expiratory Pressure Relief is one of the most significant advancements in CPAP comfort technology.
