AirSense™ 10 Elite CPAP Machine with HumidAir™ Heated Humidifier
The AirSense 10 Elite is a premium Fixed Pressure CPAP device, or single pressure delivery system, within ResMed's AirSense™ line of machines incorporating the HumidAir™ Heated Humidifier. This machine delivers a set pressure during use and does not automatically adjust airflow requirements throughout the night. Since the humidification system (HumidAir™) is integrated within the machine, the AirSense 10 Elite is 23% lighter than previous ResMed models.
Humidification has never been more adaptable and customised. ClimateLineAir™ is able to monitor the ambient environment and self-regulate temperature and humidity levels automatically, providing optimal comfort and prevention of condensation within the system. Expiratory Pressure Relief or EPR™ affords a more natural delivery of pressure and has three levels of adjustment; this minimises resistance on the exhaled breath and is one of the most significant comfort advancements in CPAP technology. SmartStart also allows for effortless therapy initiation via simply breathing into the mask, triggering the device to begin airflow; similarly, taking your mask off will signal the machine to stop airflow after a couple of seconds.
Coloured LCD screen with ambient light sensor adjusts screen brightness according to light levels within the immediate environment, limiting disruption to you and/or your bed partner. Navigating the Patient Interface is extremely simple via user-friendly design and brilliance/depth of coloured display. Advanced therapy data is available through the “More Info” section within the “Sleep Report” menu. Given this, monitoring and engaging within your therapy statistics and progress is now available with the click of a button. The device also features an in-built modem which remotely transmits therapy data to your Healthcare Professional and is capable of receiving wireless setting/program changes*.
*AirView or wireless communication subject to local network availability and strength of connection. This will not interfere with your Wi-Fi or Home Internet connection; it contains an internal 3G connection which we manage at CPAP Victoria.
